i think i have found my two uncles but how can i find out there mothers first name this is what i have william malcolm peters born 19 april 1920 trueo died sept 1984 eric john peters 25 march 1929 died dec 1986 truro now these are the same name but different place william malcolm peters born 1920 ,helston mothers maiden name morgan eric john peters june 1929 helston,mothers maiden name morgan i would like to find out if there mothers name was winnifred thank you for any help given joyce from holland |

You can look for them on ancestry, you just need to register with them and then you can search for them, you will need to search the, Complete BMD Index ranges & Images 1837-1983 quarter by quarter untill you find them. http://www.ancestry.*co.*uk remove * from the address Roy |

Hi Joyce Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you have the exact date and place of birth for your uncles, given to you by your family, and also a reference from the BMD as to where the births were registered. Unfortunately I can't get onto Ancestry and check the BMD at the moment as the website seems to be down, but it seems to me that they were actually born in Truro, but the births were registered in Helston, maybe by a relative perhaps? Therefore the two sets of births would be the same. Hope this makes sense! Karen |

hi karen yes it would make sense and now i know it was truro i went with my dad to visit his sister ,but the two chaps named were,nt married then and that was in 1947-8 as i was only young so i cant remember much but i got mixed up as i thought it was st ives they lived but now i no its truro its jogged my memory joyce |
