My cousin is having problems tracing her relatives who emmigrated to North America in 19th Century. Are there any Web sites or on-line records available? Thanks, M. Steer |

Hiya, Try www.ellisisland.org/ If you look on Ancestry.co.uk and select search outside uk. Do you know where they left from? What details do you have? Kristeen |

I have access to American Ancestry. My home computer isn't working right now, but I can check Ancestry after work (using this one), if you like? My ancestors arrived in Ontario, Canada in the 1800's. I can try some sites for Ontario as well. Back to work...Lisa |

Thanks all for your assistance. At the moment I have no details of who, when or where. I've passed on the web address for Ellis Island. I've just discovered that I can access the American and Canadian Ancestry sites - you learn something new everyday! Thanks again, M. Steer |
