Can anyone help, I am tearing my hair out over this one. I know Albert George Cripps died in June 1960 aged 64 in the Swindon Wilts area. He was married 26 October 1929 at Swindon Register office, and his father was Chales Cripps deceased, but I cannot find any record of his birth. I dont even know which area to try. Any hints would be much appreciated.

There is an Albert E Cripps b1892 on the 1901 with a father called Charles in Swindon, Rodbourne Cheney St Mary . Fathers occupation a Hydraulics Rivetter.

Thank you to everyone who has offered advice. Albert George was aged 34 years on his marriage cert dated 26/10/1929. His residence at time of marriage was Albion Street Swindon and his occupation was Labourer at the railway works. His father Charles Cripps (deceased) was a general labourer and the wintesses were H Hancock and C Hancock, (not members of either family as far as we know.) We have an obituary for him, which gives his death as June 1960 aged 64 in Swindon, unfortunately that is all we know. As you can see at the moment it doesnt tie in with any suggestions, but thanks to all.
