www.dswebhosting.info/nas/ The above is the search engine bit of the National Archives of Scotland, if they got divorced in Scotland then the divorce should appear on there. Try searching for one of the names or both, you may have to narrow the year if you get too many results. Let me know if you have any problems with it. If you do find them something then i would advise getting in touch with http://scotfamtree.11.forumer*com/ Sign up for free, introduce yourself and then head to the bit marked 'Tier 3'. The people on this site will find out how much it would be to get the document, scan/photocopy it for you and send it to you. A very helpful service as i'm pretty sure the NAS dont do an enquiry service. Mhairi |

If you look up her second marriage or first in Scotland the system at New Register House will automatically send you to the correcting entry. You need to go to New Register House in Edinburgh to find that info though as far as I'm aware as I've had a couple of entries like that. I'm not going back there until 9th March otherwise I could have looked it up for you. |

Can anyone tell me how I can get details of a Scottish divorce from before 1928? She married in 1919 and married her second husband in 1928 and it states she is divorced on her second marriage certificate. Are there any on line records as I live in the south of England? Thanks Jill |
