No, the shades indicate the level of checking. I think it says so on the site somewhere.......isn't there a block chart just above the results? Reg |

If the forenames of the females are different, you should be able to pick up the pairings on the next following census........ Oops........just realised you have specified Warks.........I was referring to the main freebmd site. Reg |

when searching marriages on free bmd,how do i determin who married who for example was looking for augustus hewitts marriage on the warwickshire free bmd and have 2 possibles,do the shades of colour determin a match many thanks bacardi xxx |

Bacardi Easiest way is to go to the next census and see who each of the ladies married, look up the hubby's and it should be obvious who the wives were - easiest way I've found, otherwise it's a bit of a lottery. regards Looby |

He's with a Clara on the 1901 census with the following children - Ada (1898), Clara (1893) and Walter (1896). |
