I am constantly uploading my gedcoms to Tribal Pages and my husband's gedcom too. I upload a new one every time I make many changes to my info. Have uploaded about five times this week and had no problems whatsoever - does your file end in the extension .ged because if it doesn't this may be where your problem lies. I use IE and have no probs. :-) Cheers, Horatia |

I have posted a message on their forum and also contacted support but not received a reply. This is the message I posted:- QUOTE I posted a message on Sunday about this problem but no-one has yet been able to resolve it. I have emailed techincal support but not yet received a reply. I have been trying to upload my updated gedcom since the weekend (approx 8 attempts). When I click on browse and select my file then click upload, I get the little box that says 'Gedcom is being uploaded, please wait'. After about one minute, the progress bar at the bottom of my IE window is half way across, the little box disappears and the web page says 'Internet Explorer cannot display the web page' There is nothing wrong with my broadband connection and I have had no problems with any other websites. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP? |
