Probably St Mary Extra cemetery, Sholing in Portsmouth Rd , about a mile and half from centre of Woolston

There was a thread not too long ago about a charity? on Southampton Common willing to do lookups in local cemetery records for a small donation. I have had excellent help in the past from The Bereavement Services in Bugle Street, Southampton who hold computerised records for Southampton cemeteries. Gwyn

Jan Just to clarify.. I was looking for people with a particular surname, who died from c. 1860s onward.... not recently deceased, so was surprised that it still came under bereavement services. Gwyn

Have Bumped up Burials in Southampton on records board for you to find the site Gwyn mentioned, maybe worth investigating further. Kind regards, Judith
