Hi anne I have searched with first names and surnames and birthdates and birth places in varying combinations with no success which is why I was after an address search. The death in 1868 is James Macfarlane born 1798 in scotland. The marriage in 1875 is between Ferdinand Henri Himely and Anna Maria Flora Macfarlane (James daughter) and in 1881 the person is residence is James macfarlane born around 1824 in London james macfarlanes nephew and son in law as he married his first cousin(the original James daughter) In 1881 he is residing with his second wife and family Regards Tania |

Hi I have been pouring through ancestry trying to figure out how to find an address and frankly it is driving me mad I would really appreciate some help,as although I consider myself to be reasonably capable I am just not getting it. My Macfarlane family owned 35 Gloucester road Pancras from at least 1868 to 1881 as I have a death registered there,in 1868 a marriage listed there in 1875 and a census from 1881 (which I did manage to find still placing them there). The death cert says registration district Pancras sub district regents park in the county of middlesex. I would dearly love to see who is there in the 1871 census and if some one is really clever wether they owned the house in 1861 via the 1861 census. Regards tania PS I am at work so will be popping on and off |
