Hi Linda If it helps you get started - I have just checked FamilyRelatives (they have an index 1866 - 1920) and I can find no marriage record for either. So you can start your search in 1921. HTH ... Paul

Hi Linda, Because of the birth dates, you are unlikely to find marriages or deaths for the pair on FreeBMD. To find them, it will be a case of 'trawling' the complete index available free on Ancestry. This can be very time consuming as each quarter has to be searched page by page, year by year, but well worth it when you get a result. You will first have to check for a marriage, then confirm that, then look for children born with the same mothers maiden name, eventually you will have to check the same way for deaths. It is not easy researching after the 1901 census. The complete indexs can be searched here:- http://www.ancestry*co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx Replace star with dot. Just register your e-mail with them and have fun! There are other methods as well, such as Electoral rolls etc, but you have to have an address to search them.

I cannot find the records for Ivor Leonard Carpenter born 1904 in Taunton and Lionel Charles Carpenter born 1895 in Taunton. I have found their birth but I cannot find marriage and any details of wife, children etc or their deaths. Any suggestions please.
