I think I have really got lost with this family I have Charles Edmund 1787 Carleton St.Peter dying aged 54 which would be c1841 I now seem to be unable to locate any of them on any of the census's on any site, What is happening to me maybe I should go and lie down in a darkened room! |

There are 4 Charles Hazels in Loddon area in 1851, including your Charles. Most likely, it's this one that died.... Charles Hazell abt 1787 Carleton St Peter, Norfolk, England Head Claxton Norfolk (just cos he's old lol) Could be this baby though.... I have Charles Edmund Hazell born C1839 Hellington Norfolk, his parents are James Hazell b 1810 Mundham Norfolk and Mary Ann Catchpoll born c1812, I then have him die in 1851 Loddon, Norfolk but now have a query with him marrying a Lydia Saul in 1854. I guess I need to get his death cert to confirm that he is the right Charles Edmund and the one who married Lydia is a cousin that I am to discover more about!! Any ideas to stop some confusion and hair pulling before cert arrives. Cheers Christine |

If he married Lydia, he can't have died in 1851. I would think that the dead Charles is a relation, possibly uncle or cousin.
