C.mon guys! tell an old girl what this means please? I put a thread on earlier asking for help and Kathleen Bell put this reply which was very helpful....but!....what/where/how ??? Added by Kathleen Bell on 23/02/2007 18:46:31 Looking at the batch number on the IGI, it seems Barnwell had an older brother called David. Kath. x Whats a batch number?...I clicked on the batch numbers listed under the name of Barnwell Crawley and it asked for Christian and Surname!...How did she know it was a David??? Hi Gerri, If you find a baptism, you can check for other baptisms in that batch by clicking on the number to bring up the search box. On there if you enter a surname and parents names, it will bring up all baptisms matching that criteria. OR if you just enter a surname, it will bring up all matching surnames in that batch. If you check the thread 'Help finding a birth' below by Heidi, I have used that method there to locate siblings. Cheers Keith |
