I thought unusual surnames were easier to find????? How wrong i was,it`s harder is it the peeps transcribing or what!!!!! sharon

Yes glitter, they are the ones..........but trying to find John Kew before thjen is rather difficult, he seems to have vanished or has diff details, like i said earlier his father is John William but is deceased n 1898 when he married so dunno what to try next... then john kew in the 1901 on his marr cert says John William Kew to Annie Calvert.. parents John William Kew(deceased) and George Calvert both fathers were Miners thanx sharon

hi glitter i have John Kew Ann Kew and son George William Kew on the 1901 living with Calvert family which is Ann`s parent but is down as boarders, that`s as far is i can go apart from John`s marr to Ann(ie) Calvert 1898... i am so stuck on this one, think i have Ann(ie) but not a thing on John KEW sharon

hi, just wondering abt the surname KEW and what it could be mistranscribed as....i have George W Kew born abt 1900, Craghead, Lanchester,County Durham Father John Kew born abt 1876 Shiremon(Shiremoor) NBL Mother Annie Kew nee Calvert abt 1880 Washington, county durham.. i have John William KEW on his marr cert1898 to Annie Calvert - father john william kew(deceased) living in new penshaw which is houghton le spring, county durham i`m really having problems wioth this name so wondering if anyone can help with alternate spellings thanx sharon
