Irish Military Death information

I have tried finding my ancestor Richard Toal he has vanished between 1877 in Ireland and 1906 in scotland ,as registered as decease on his sons wedding certificate in 1906 . does anyone have any Ideas where he may have gone. could he have been in the forces and killed ,was he murdered, did some thing else happen. or maybe he changed his name. can any one help where can i find out military deaths for the Irish regiments. best wishes and happy searching zoe |

Zoe don't always believe what you read on the marriage cert - my g grand father married twice on the first cert his father was dead, but not on the 2nd one. On the other side of the family put his father down as deceased and he was alive and in a Workhouse! |
