My lot were in Souldrop (the workhouse) in the early 1830's, it is next to/part of Felmersham. (Googling brings it up and it is in the Odell, Sharnbrook, Felmersham area.) Gail x UPDATE, Pear Tree Cottage, Back Lane Souldrop, Bedfordshire is one of the addresses that comes up.

Susan...........my grandparents lived at Pear Tree Cottage Souldrop in the early 1900's. It was down Back Lane in the village and the cottage next door was Rose Tree Cottage. I've been trying to trace the history of this little cottage for ages and come up with it being called all sorts of names on different census returns...........lol Will PM with my e mail and if you want any of the info I have I'm happy to share it with you. If it's the same cottage I have a photograph of it when my grandparents first moved in.
