They won't be on the same certificate, but if they have the same District, volume number and page number, they could well be twins, although they could be cousins born at the same time. Only way to be sure is to order the certificates. If you want to order them one at a time, you will probably find that there is a time of birth given on the certificate if it is one of twins. Twins would have separate certs but would usually appear on the same page in the index as they would be registered at the same time. Kim |

It maybe worth checking to see if there is a death entry for the boy in the same qtr/year. could explain why never mentioned. E x |

Having traced grandmothers birth details am puzzled to see that a boy has been entered on the same date and also shares the same certificate entry number, do they enter twins on the same certificate? never heard of twins spoken of in the family |
