If I buy credits in findmypast and look up a death registration in 1958, will it tell me the age at death? Help appreciated...thanks. Joan

You can look without paying on Ancestry..... just register, ... to be able to view births, marriages and deaths from GRO index. Gwyn

Thanks Gwyneth I'm on Ancestry but this section isn't fully transcribed yet so they aren't on. There used to be the beta list or some such, but I can't find that now.Joan

You need to search the full index...not the freebmd, which doesn't have much yet beyond c. 1912. You should be able to find your person ..with an age at death. Gwyn
