Brighton and Hove Street Directory 1854: VIADUCT TERRACE On the London Road, leading to Rose Hill 6 Barns CFC Town Carter 17 Wellingham William Stafford professor of the piano forte (and small houses) If you go on to the Historical Directories site and do a keyword search under the person's name for Sussex 1850's you may find them listed.

Reggie, findmypast is only showing up to number four as well, when Gail finally found Viaduct Terrace.

Hi Does anyone have the 1861 Sussex census in their posession please as I am after a Viaduct Terrace in Brighton?. I looked on Ancestry and District 21 covers only up to No 4, yet there was more houses along Viaduct Terrace. I am trying to place its actual position as an ancestor of mine lived there in 1863. In 1861 he was living in a nearby street. Thanks Ben
