i was wondering has anyone used friends reunited to track down any living relatives? |

I wasn't on Friends looking for relatives. But I did find a lot of people I was at school and in the Scouts with (back in the 60s and 70s). It was interesting reading their profiles and fun reading some of the reminiscences. Not that I have any desire to go to a reunion with a bunch of fat bald guys (it was an all boys school) many of whom I disliked. Naturally, I exclude myself from that stereotype. ;-) |

I didn't find any relatives but I did find a picture of my old school which has now been demolished and pictures of some of my teachers ,also through reading the message boards I was able to put names to most of them,I've now got them printed off to put in my files. Barbara |

I found my friends children on there and contacted her through them. We had lost contact in our twenties, we are now both 60, she had been my bridesmaid and then married and moved away. I didn't even know her married name but found that through Ancestry and found her children on there too and looked to see if they were on FR. They were so I sent one of them a message and we hooked up that way Linda |

I managed to find my cousin by contacting his daughter via Friends Reunited! |
