Help! looking for a maiden name, cant find marriage record for Thomas Lever born 1858 Sheffield to Mary J ? born Holcombe 1861 they are on the 1891 census living in Bolton Lancashire with a month old son he is on the 1881 census single living with parents and back living with them in 1901 a widower |

Yes couldnt find it will have to get birth certificate Thanks Reg looks like thats the son going to send off for his cert looks like its the only way to find her maiden name |

Found on FREEBMD Mary Jane Dungworth married 1 of 3 males one of them was a Thomas Lever. last qrt 1890 Sheffield. Mary Jane was born late 1861 / early 1862. Hope this helps. Mike |

Thankyou everyone got to get birth cert looks like she might have died of complications with the birth dying so near his birth |
