How do I find where someone was married in Lincolnshire and who to? I am looking for James Jackson's wife. James born abt 1806 Leake. Father of twins John and Ann Jackson born abt 1826. Who was their mother?

have you looked for them on the 1841 census. the twins would be about 15 and possibly still at home

Linda add a reply here , its better __________________________________________________ SCRAP ALL THIS ITS WRONG Hi, Yes that is he, but he has twins, my ancestors, John & Ann born 1825/6 Algarkirk. Regards Linda something not right , he'd only have been 10 when they were born - unlikely! Where on earth is Algarkirk??? ______________________________________________________ Keith , its the other one thats a duplicate, this one was here first

Image for James in 1851 says age 46 not 66.

Unfortunately extracted baptism records for Algarkirk on the IGI don't go later than 1800, but it's in the right area. Chris

A likely marriage for Ann: Marriages Dec 1852 CADE Thomas Boston 7a 741 Jackson Ann Boston 7a 741 None of which gets any closer to the identity of Ann and John's mother. Perhaps the Lincolnshire Archives would be able to help with the Algarkirk registers? Chris

James in 1861? Linda, have been to the archives for you and have the marriage, will pm you details. Also have baptisms of John and Ann (not twins) and possible death for wife, but not sure as age given at burial means she would have been 15 when she had first child.
