Henry Maples Kitchen born abt 1872 married Selena (unknown maiden name). Their 1st child was born in 1898 so I assume they were married between 1892 and 1898 as on the 1891 census he still lives with his parents. Both Henry and Selena were born in Nottingham but by 1898 they were living in Loughborough, Leicester. I've tried a few variations on names but can not find anything, if anybody can see something I can't I would be very grateful. Thank you Vicky

How old was selina in the census you have found later

Selena was abt 37 in the 1901 census.

Hi, Agnes Kitchen was born in Loughborough in abt 1898.

Victoria I think this is the birth for Agnes, if you send for the certificate, it will tell you Selenas maiden name and aid the search for the marriage, I cannot see the marriage at all. Name: Agnes Marion Kitchen Year of Registration: 1898 Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep District: Loughborough County: Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire Volume: 7a Page: 144

I had a look on the Baptismal register. There is an entry for a Selina Ricketts in Southwell on 5/6/1870. Not necessarilly your Selina but the only one baptised in Southwell in the period 1868 - 1876.
