Thanks for looking into this for me yes Elizabeth Dootson links it all together she was with Margaret in 1871 when she was Margaret Neild wife of Robert Leigh Lancs. She was also with her 1881 Liverpool as housekeeper looking after the children as Margaret was shipstewardess. Her status married. 1891 still with her when she was Margaret Mann wife of John mann the son of the house John P mann was born about 1881 but she was still Mrs Neild. can not find either her marriage or John P birth details of course she may or may not be his mother and she could have married elsewhere or at sea. Not sure what you are looking for..........if you have all the censuses, the only other info would be bmd's. Electoral Rolls hold names only of those entitled to vote.........in those days, a very limited franchise. Could you give a clearer idea of what you wish to find out..........or is it just the second marriage which you need. Where have you looked in your search for the record? Reg |

1871 census leigh lancs Robert Neild wife Margaret Burlington House?. How do I trace them from there anybody have access to poll records?./ 1881 Margaret lives Liverpool with her children 1891 wife of John Mann Liverpool. 1901 widow of John Mann. She was I believe Margaret Jane Nicholl Forbes born march 1851 married Robert Neild 1868 Liverpool. Can not find Marriage to John Mann |
