HO107/813/11 - It's the 1841 Census for John White, Little Houghton, Northants. Wife has been transcribed at ANN - but doesn't look like it to me? Also son Thomas age 20 with them. Thanks Elly

Hi Elly I would definitely say it's Ann. The writing is quite 'curly' but it still looked like Ann to me, even before I enlarged it. Mandy :)

She is his wife with 20 years between them (Now found on '51 & '61). I would imagine it would be his 2nd marriage - so need to rely on parrish records to find any previous marriage.. Thanks Elly

Actually it's Great Houghton not Little but it looks like Ann to me. Is she his wife though or daughter? There's 20 years difference in ages. Margaret
