HO107/813/11 - It's the 1841 Census for John White, Little Houghton, Northants. Wife has been transcribed at ANN - but doesn't look like it to me? Also son Thomas age 20 with them. Thanks Elly |

Hi Elly I would definitely say it's Ann. The writing is quite 'curly' but it still looked like Ann to me, even before I enlarged it. Mandy :) |

She is his wife with 20 years between them (Now found on '51 & '61). I would imagine it would be his 2nd marriage - so need to rely on parrish records to find any previous marriage.. Thanks Elly |

Actually it's Great Houghton not Little but it looks like Ann to me. Is she his wife though or daughter? There's 20 years difference in ages. Margaret |
