How do I find a marriage that took place in Scotland between 1841-1851? Ive tried on ancestry but no luck? any help much appreciated, thanks |

Try the IGI. If it's not there, it's unlikely you will find it online. The only other place is ScotlandsPeople, but that is a pay site. Other than that, you would have to go to Edinburgh to find it. |

Try this site you have to join but its free and their are a lot of helpfull people on there. http://scotfamtree.11.forumer(.)com/index.php There is a subscription area on the site but unless you need lots of look ups stick to the free bit. remove the brackets John |
