A mine of information is http://www.galaxy.bedfordshire.gov.uk/cgi-bin/vlib.sh become a library online member and access The Times Online. Only goes back as far as 1785 but it makes an interesting read.. They also have a 'this day in history' section in the Encyclopedia Britannica Online. Gail. |

I now want to make my tree into a story, and to add interest I would like to find out important things that would have happened during those years.......For example, Battle of Waterloo, who was Prime Minister, what laws were passed, etc etc. Can anyone point me in a direction that would help me get this sort of info?
