Just a lttle more from Ellis Island. There are 3 Katie Banahans listed as arriving in 1923, all aged 19, all from Ireland. 1. Katie Banahan, Lisham..., Ireland. April 16, 1923. The Celtic. Her name was crossed of the list. Missed the boat? 2. Katie Banahan, Lisnamalt, Ireland. April 14, 1923. The Baltic. Her name was crossed off this list too. Father’s name is given as Thos. Banahan, Lisnamalt. At the bottom of the sheet her name is listed as being “not on board”. 3. Katie Banahan, Roscommon, Ireland. April 24, 1923. The Baltic. She’s with a cousin, Delia Mullen who’s a domestic. Katie is a student. Father’s name is Thomas Banahan, Lisnamalt, Roscommon, Ireland. She’s going to join her aunt. Mrs John Davitt, 663 10th. Ave. New York, NY. |
