There is a file in the index entry for an Amy Rebecca Fuller/John aged 24 Wandsworth 1889 I think they are about £8 for the file now..they probably contain the newspaper articles possible the inquest information www(.)lightage(.)demon(.)co(.)uk/BSIE-G(.)htm#Home |

Hi Shelia Go to www(.)lightage(.)demon(.)co(.)uk/ remove the brackets have a look in the The Black (& White) Sheep Index, choose sheep E - G then look in the index where the surname Fuller would alphabetically fall. There are order forms on the site that you can print off, the cost is £8 i think....the last one I had I got newspaper articles. This is what the site says..BSI REPORTS ARE USUALLY PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH THE LAW, ACCIDENTS, INQUESTS, OBITUARIES, BIOGRAPHIES, OR PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT THEIR LIFE AND WORK I CANNOT GIVE CONTENTS OF SPECIFIC REPORTS BEFOREHAND Its a great site..good luck |

Sheila have you traced her husband on the 1891 census, if they were drinking in a local pub he may still be living in the same area in 1891. Georgina. |

This place may have the newspaper report. Why not email them giving full details and see if they can identify a newspaper article about the suicide and/or identify the pub and Waterside. You may get it cheaper than £8! Contact details at the bottom of the page of the website: http://www.southwark.gov.uk/DiscoverSouthwark/LocalStudiesLibrary/ Cheers, Horatia |

Saint Saviour/Sothwark are the areas right on the River Thames in London, immediately south of London Bridge, so Waterside was presumably so called as it was on the very edge of the river. Jack |
