Hi Glen, when I view an individual record, I get a big orange star-thing in the top right-hand corner saying 'view original image' and a link underneath saying the same thing. I wonder why, if Ancestry don't actually have the rights to the images? |

Also getting the error message on Scottish 1861 images. Just wondering if this is what they have been playing around with as the site has been a pain just lately. Maureen |

Good evening all. It's me again. I've been looking up records on Ancestry from the 1861 Scottish census. Up until today, I have never been given the option of actually viewing the original images with scottish records. Today I have, but when I click on the view image link, I just get a message saying 'Error processing image request'. Anyone know what's going on? |

Just checked and i don't get the option to view the image. Just the results screen. I thought that the legal position was such that Ancestry were denied the bmd as well as census images for Scotland. |
