Have you tried the workhouse site Karen? It lists Inmates.

All workhouse records are usually kept at the County Record Office so yours would be held at Hampshire Records Office. I'll google it for you. Cheers, Horatia

This is where the workhouses site says the records are:- Records Hampshire Record Office, Sussex Street, Winchester SO23 8TH. Holdings include: Guardians' minute books (1835-46, 1891-25); Birth registers (1835-1931); Death registers (1835-1938); Admission and discharge books (1835-1951). Kath. x

can anyone please tell me where i might find workhouse records my great grandmother died in Winchester union workhouse in 1907 i assume she was there because she was ill as my great grandfather was still living in the family home with his children .her last child was born in 1902.
