yes ozi...exactly right.....if she was 25 then...she couldn`t have been 20 in 1861 census in nelson yard,kidderminster....when ann died, daniel remarried to marianne merrick from hereford in 1874...they then had 9 children...oddly enough,if ann and daniel didn`t have any children,i have no real interest in ann....as marianne was my g g grandmother.......but if they had any children, they would be related....thanks...allan |

I see your conundrum. She only aged 5 years between censuses. Still no luck so far with 1851. 1861: Name: Ann Evason Age: 20 Estimated birth year: abt 1841 Relation: Head Gender: Female Where born: Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England Civil parish: Kidderminster Ecclesiastical parish: Kidderminster Town: Kidderminster County/Island: Worcestershire Country: England Street address: Occupation: Registration district: Kidderminster Sub-registration district: Kidderminster Household Members: Name Age Ann Evason 20 Sarah Dutton 28 - boarder |

hi ozi.......it states duttong on my page....tell me what you think about this..if ann went back to kidderminster to die, where did she go...no sign of any family in 1861...no parents...do you think sarah dutton/duttong could have been her mums sister...maybe dutton was her mothers maiden name....she`s down as a dairymaid, and ann is a dressmaker....or am i clutching at straws....regards...allan |

She's definitely Dutton on the image & she's unmarried but haven't found her elsewhere yet. Ozi. |

Hi Allan, ED is Enumerator District - the area that one man covered to do the census - usually several miles if a country area but could be several streets if in a large town. Civil Parish of Ribbesford was split into 7 ED's - so 7 men did all the work for that area. Maureen |

Have just checked the image for 1851 and it was just a house and not any type of workhouse or institution. |
