Thanks Georgina and Irene The death looks very probable, I'll have to send for the certificate, the marriage to Edward Phillips I already had but thankyou for looking! I just can't find the family in 1841. I think the problem is that they've split up and the names are so common that I'll never find them yet it's strange that Sarah is back with Mum in 1851... Many thanks again, Sue |

I'll try to keep it simple! Barnabas Sharp b 1804 married to Mary Ann Paxman b abt 1800.Marriage- Shoreditch 1825. I've found four children on IGI, George b 1828, Mary Ann b1831 d1835, Thomas b1826 and Sarah b1834. (two of these had parents named as above, others had parents named Barnaby and MaryAnn). All born Bethnal Green. I believe that Mary Ann remarried in 1842 as I have found her with daughter Sarah (my gt gt grandmother) in 1851 Census as Mary Ann Phillips, possible remarriage on index/IGI. Therefore Barnabas probably died before 1841. However I cannot find the rest of the family on 1841 Census. Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received. Thankyou, Sue . |
