I agree with Glen, you really need to get that marriage certificate. I'm having difficulty finding Martha in 1881. I have to admit that I couldn't read the place of birth on the 1891 census so I put what they transcribed which was Bristol but it could have been anything beginning with B. The following is a possibility: 1881 census east Budleigh, Devon Ann Bolt, head, widow, 54, charwoman, born Otterton, Devon Emma, dau, 24, lacemaker, born Harpford, Devon Walter J., son, 19, tailor, born Newton Prop???, Devon Martha E., dau, 15, lacemaker, born Budleigh Salterton, Devon Forgive my problem with place names. I'm in Canada so don't know them that well. Margaret |

The Fred and Martha wedding cert will help, it will give an occupation and should give names for fathers, that will help to confirm census searches and let you get the right birth certs for them. |

Wow..........This is great, how did you all find him, when i couldn't, i must've had my eyes closed!!! Looking at the info you have all supplied I would say that this definately, Walter F Langley and his Father Frederick H Langley, you have given me some info that I had no idea about, if anyone fancies expanding it even further for me, i'll just sit back and relax (just joking!!). Now what about Martha Langley formerly Bolt b Bristol or ?Devon I think 1901census say's Devon as place of birth I know FH Langley had died by then. |
