You can see all the censuses for England and Wales so I think it is indespensible if thats where your rellies came from. Less useful if they were Scottish though. No need to belong to the full Ancestry d o t c o m unless you have American rellies. Anne

Hi, Can anyone tell me the benefits of becoming a full member of Ancestry please? I mean I know you get more but is it worth it? Amy

Some of my family 3 generations back moved to South Africa to do mining but they were killed out there. Is Ancestry likely to be able to help me with South African rellies at all?

Mmmm, not sure about that one. You would def need the full Ancestry for that. You could try searching - you will get a list of results but not be able to see them until you join. Anne

Best to google for South African genealogy sites. However, I cant see how anyone can do without ancestry if they have UK ancestors.
