I've a relative that was born in 1625. He died in 1694 with 28 and a half pounds to his name ... enough to grant a probate which I know in this day and age means you have a few assets or two. Does anyone know how much 28 and a half pounds in 1694 would be worth now? I know its unlikely that anyone would know but I guess its curiosity. Many of the generations between then and now were working class anyway. Thanks Amy
