Why do you think they aren't her parents? I have a relative who lived with her unmarried mother and father and grandparents, until her parents got married, then parents moved away and had lots more children, but the first child stayed with grandparents. Liz |

no, i thought they where her parents too.... but on the later census they have moved away and she stayed with her grandfather until she married thomas henry bedford... and on another census i am sure they put excuse my swearing (bastard child).. |

Hi, This MAY be her birth registration, as it ties in with her age being one on the census. If you order the cert it will give both parents names. Name: Sarah Ann Stevens Year of Registration: 1860 Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar District: Leighton Buzzard County: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire Volume: 3b Page: 442 Do you have a marriage for her? If so that would confirm the fathers name. |

hi trying to find a sarah stevens mother or father names . i found where she was living in 1861 she was living with her grandfather +grandmother william and harriett ward 36 leck street bell and woolpack public house leighton buzzard beds or bucks she was only 2yrs then but cant seem to find her parents |
