Hi Yvette An awful lot of people got married on Bank Holiday Mondays in the old days, as they were off work. Saturdays were often a working day. As your date was in May, this could be the reason why, ie Whitsuntide. Dianne xx |

Thanks Irene i will look up that site and keep it for future ref, its funny though because i expected it to be a saturday, because its my grandparents wedding day, unusual for a wedding to be on a monday,esp for poor people. Sorry i didn't reply sooner but we have just had a power cut for about 30mins!! so annoying thanks again yvette |
