I'm trying to locate a branch of my family that appear on the census records until 1871 in Hull, and then disappear. None of them turn up in the deaths or marriages index (I''ve combed through the next 10 years +) Is there any way of finding out if they emmigrated without subscribing to the very costly ancestors world wide site!!

if you can't find them in 1881 it could be a case of mis-transcription. If you add the full details for 1871......People can take a second look for you...x
