I would start with the marriage certificate of your father's parents. This will name THEIR fathers and this may be useful as a checking point if you want to order birth certificates. Gwyn |

Hi Stephanie If you send for his birth certificate, that will name both his parents, plus his mother's maiden name. You will then be able to look for their wedding. Good luck PP xx |

Hey, I have a bit of a problem, My Grandad Kenneth Batty died when my dad was 4, so he doesnt remember anything about him, or his grand parents on that side. I have his birth marriage and death registered, however i dont know how to find out who his parents were. He was born in Feb of 1934, he died in April, May or June of 1967. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks Stephanie. |
