Hi Averil, Thank you for your kind offer but I won't take you up on it. My Daniels was a William and he was a platelayer in 1909. Cheers, Horatia |

Hi Horatia I took a quick look at lunchtime and I've found an A.V. Daniels on the WW1 Memorial at St Simon's Church where he had been the organist. I'm happy to dig some more if I've got the right family, just let me know. Averil |

Hello Horatia, Sorry but these names don't immediately ring a bell but I will check through all my data when I get home tonight and get back to you. |

Hello, Have you come across any of these surnames: Kemp, Jordan or Daniels? Cheers, Horatia |

I've done a lot of research on the families who lived in the Railway Houses in Simonside, South Shields. I also have quite a lot of information on the men who worked in the Tyne Dock sheds - I even have a list of punishments and fines which is interesting. Too many names to list here but if you're looking for information about anyone living in Wenlock Road, Tennant Street, Ebor Street or Madras Street [formerly known as Greenfield Street] then ask and I'm happy to look them up for you. Have also got some details for the area around Green Lane and Railway Cottages etc. |
