can anyone tell me where i can view scottish cencus. just found out my fathers parents come from scotland dont no where to start. many thx sam! |

Depending on the dates then ScotlandsPeople which is a pay to view site has all the census and obviously BMD's. IGI and Scotsorigins are free to look at but again would depend on the dates but not for census There is a thread on one of the boards which give a lot of websites for Scottish research. Ancestry does have the 1841, 1851 and 1861 Scottish census but no images Maureen |

Sam, For that date you will have to apply to the Scottish GRO whose website addy escapes me at the moment. ScotlandsPeople only goes up to 1906 for births. Good luck, Maureen |
