1851 census sharp eyes needed again. St John the Baptist , Trinity, Margate, Kent HO107/1629 2 Heritages Mary and Sarah with Phoebe ? at ? they all seem to be female . I can just make out one house ? uninhabited but I cannot understand what place they are all in. Any Ideas please many thanks Marie Kent

Hi, I think the 1 house unoccupied is meant to be before this. It does say ..... House, can't read the first bit. Think it must be some sort of school as adults are all either teachers/assistants other than servants and all children, as said before, are scholars. I thought it said Crescent House. If you Google search for Crescent House Margate.... you get a 'hit' mentioning Thanet private schools. Gwyn
