Hi Roger, Do you have access to Ancestry? If so, have a look at Reuben Walker, born Buckhaven, Herts, I found him in 1871 with son William and Daughter-in-law Hannah Heville ??? I also found a Hannah Nevell in 1871, working as a servant with a Herbert family in Islington. I've found several loose threads and not sure how to match them up! hope this hasn't confused you further. Hilary |

Hannah Nevell (Sometimes Nevil or Nevill) was born St. Luke, London in 1848. Her Sister Mary Nevell (?!!) was born 1856. Mother Was Sarah Ann Nevell b 1826. I cannot trace a birth for Mary Nevell(??!!) The 1861 census shows them living as a happy family with Reuben Walker, Sarah as his wife. Hannah and Mary (Nevil) as stepdaughters and William Walker son. Need to locate birth for Mary please. Also if anybody can trace Sarah and Hannah in 1851 census (I cannot) - I MIGHT get more knowledge of background before they were all involved with Rueben Walker. The family lived in and around Islington, North London for very many years. Many thanks to all you Sherlock Holmes' out there. Roger in New Zealand |
