If you're not in a desperate hurry, 192.com will give you free credits if you fill in their online questionnaires. It takes a few days for the credits to be applied though, but if you're just looking for one number, that's the answer. By the way, I was able to cheat once by using a little lateral thinking. They replace the letters of addresses with 'x's. I looked at the county and it was only four letters, So that narrowed down to Kent. The town was two words so I figured the first was either East or West.... get the idea?

As you seem not to have a location, your best chance of finding the number would be by visiting your nearest main public library, which should have all UK directories in the reference section. And hope the number isn't ex-directory!! Reg

Does anyone have access to telephone numbers, 192.com want a ridiculous amount of money for a number. All suggestions welcome. Thanks
