marrige registry help please

hello can anyone help me please im trying to find my nans mum's marrige certificate online. She was called Florrie Dinsdale and married 30th of august 1919. I have got the original certificate at home and have found her marrige registry online but I cant find her husbands Fred whitfield registry. There is a registry from a frederick whitfield but I am unsure if this is her husband. Do the vol and page need to be the same as each other for example names of persons married district vol page frederick whitfield wolstanton 6b 324 florrie dinsdale n.bierley 9b 135 I am confused about the district is this where they got married or is it where they was born thanks for your help |

Hi Ryan Yes the vol and page reference as well as the district have to be a match |

Hi Ryan Fred is there recorded as Fred. Whitfield, Fred, Dinsdale, N.Bierley 9b 135. Q3 1919 And Sam got there before me as well lol! |

He is down as Fred, Quarter 3 1919. If you already have the cert then i'm not sure why you need the ref, you can't see any certs online. |

thank you all for your help, but I still can not find fred whitfield all i can find is a frederick whitfield in the july, august and september 1919 registry |

Ryan On free ancestry BMD there are 2 pages for Whitfield Jul quarter 1919 - he is nearly at the bottom of the first page as Fred. If thats any help |

Are you checking the COMPLETE index and viewing the image? There are two sets of entries for Jul-Sep quarter, your Fred is on the first (shown as the separated entry below) First Name on Page......................
