my gran was a jones born in wales but not sure where. i have found her death in 1988 in sussex, does anyone no if i order the cert will it tell me where in wales she was born? |

It depends on who was the informant who gave the registrar the details. If it was a close relative who knew for certain or had a copy of the birth cert when they went to the office, then yes. Otherwise it might just say Wales. Jack |

My Mums one of 1980 shows date & place of birth,Hackney, but not the address. depends on the knowledge of the informant and how they answered the question. might just say Wales. Getting the cert would be the best bet. Shirley |
