That reminds me that when we moved into a house we lived in some time ago, there were loads of old newspapers in the loft, which my son claimed and has since taken to USA where he now lives. Unfortunately for my research a lot were local to Stroud, Glos and the others were The Times and I'm not sure my relatives in the late 1800s read The Times, so wouldn't put births, marriages and deaths in there. Linda if Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Hexham or Newcastle newspapers keep looking. Not sad at all especially if my rellies are there. lol T.O.R. ;o))

Bored, stuck indoors due to the weather so I was tidying out some boxes in the loft. .... I found some newspapers dated in the 40's and some dated 1961...................and what am I doing.....looking on here to see if I can find any matches for some of the people in the articles....I must get a life.....lol.....Linda
