I have a lot of Carney's who came from County Down in Ireland and they were all hairdressers in the mid to late 1800. How can I find out if there was a hairdressers shop Carney, N., hair dresser, 4 Short Strand Betty

Hi Sheila, Sorry I have been out doing shopping or there would be nothing to eat. Anyway it was Newry, or Newry & Mourne County Down. John Carney and Mary Carney nee Kennedy. They married there in 1877. Betty
