Hi Kirsty, Trying getting in touch with Manchester Social Services first, they should be able to confirm which agency arranged the adoption and advise you of what you can do next. Any more questions feel free to ask on the boards or e.mail me direct. Good Luck! Sheila |

Have you tried the British Association for Adoption and fostering? Put baaf into your search box, and look under adoption. good luck Jennifer |

Hi I recently found out that a have a full sister that was adopted. My mum fell pregnant at an early age and was sent away to have the baby. She gave birth to a girl and she named her Sadie Smith her birth date is 11/08/68 and was born at Hope Hospital in Manchester. She was adopted at approx 6 weeks old. The problem I have is that I don't know which agency was involved or what her adoptive name is. I have registered my details on the Adoption Register as her sibling. anyone with any ideas ?? Kirsty |
