Perhaps if you give the name and the details someone will be able to look on findmypast or familyrelatives, they might have a clearer image.

I want to order 2 death certs. from the GRO. I've found the refences on the FreeBMD and checked on Ancestry. The trouble is the page number isn't given, or it's given but is illegible (on both sites). Can I say that the reference info is known and just put a ? or say 'unclear' in the page box and pay £7 or will I have to say that the ref. is unknown and pay £10. Also, although I receive them very quickly (5/6 days to get to France) certain certs. that I've received from the GRO are almost illegible ex. residence, witnesses... I suppose they're photocopies. Can I ask for explications? I can't order from the County records office as they don't accept bank cards. I did order from the Cheshire records office and I'm still waiting more than 3 weeks later. Looking at the images, I would say Ellen's is page 686. And William's is page 522 If these are not correct, the GRO will notify you. Reg
