Hi Mark don't know it this is the same James Rowley in 1871. Also found Mary Rowley c 1853 Scarborough on 1871 & 1881 cenus as a Servant in Scarborough. Can't find Francis though - tried putting in search for all registered people born in USA in 1871 and he wasn't among them sorry. Perhaps as suggested the family may have spilt and gone to USA or Ireland. Hi Id be most grateful if anyone could help me on the following. I want to find FRANCIS MCGUIRE in more census papers.....i have found him in 1861: he is living with his wife Catherine (married her in Scarborough 1857), there are also present James Rowley (son), John Rowley (son) and Mary Rowley (daughter)......John Rowley is the son of Catherine's first marriage. The other two children - James and Mary are thought to be Francis' children...but they are bastards as Francis and Catherine were not married at the time of there births. My question is............where is Francis McGurire in 1851??? 1871??? 1881??? and so on.........he is originally born in the United States of America (BS)..but when did he come over? any help would be much appreciated. cheers Mark |
